For prop firms

How verify.trading assesses prop firms.

Traders check a firm before they buy a challenge. This page explains what a prop firm record is built from, how to ask for a correction, and why the outcome is not for sale.

Assessment model

A fixed model, applied the same way to everyone

01

Operating status

Whether a firm is operating, closed or still being monitored. Records not yet scored show as “Not yet rated”.

02

Published terms

Your own published rules, payout terms and licensing claims, as they appear on your site.

03

Documented complaint patterns

Public, attributable records of withdrawal and payout issues, assessed for pattern and not for isolated reports.

Full detail is in the methodology. You can find your current record in Compare Prop Firms.

Policy

Independence and correction policy

We take no affiliate commissions from brokers, prop firms or educators, and rated entities cannot be our affiliates. Verdicts are computed from regulator records and are not for sale.

A record cannot be bought, improved or removed by its subject. A Caution rests on a documented regulator or court action and is revised only when the underlying record changes. If a record is inaccurate, contact us with a primary source such as an official register entry or notice.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Still stuck? Contact us.

What does the operating status on a firm's record mean?
Whether the firm is operating, closed or still being monitored. Firms we have not scored show as “Not yet rated”, which is not a negative finding.
How are payout complaints assessed?
We look for public, attributable records of withdrawal and payout issues and assess for pattern, not for isolated reports. A negative finding needs an official source.
How does a prop firm request a correction?
Contact us with the record and a primary source. The same rules apply to every firm, and a record only changes when the evidence does.
Can a firm sponsor a listing?
No. There are no paid placements, and firms cannot be affiliates while they are rated.
Where do the published terms come from?
From the firm's own site, as published. If your terms changed, point us to the updated page and we will review the record.

Questions about your record?

We read every message and will point you to the source or the rule behind a verdict.
