Trust and independence

Why you can check our working.

We rate brokers, prop firms and educators, so the way we work has to be open to inspection. This page sets out our independence policy, how a verdict is made, where AI is used and how to challenge us.

Independence

Not for sale, by design

We take no affiliate commissions from brokers, prop firms or educators, and rated entities cannot be our affiliates. Verdicts are computed from regulator records and are not for sale.

We earn from Pro subscriptions, paid by traders. There are no paid listings, no sponsored rankings and no commissions from the firms we rate.

Standards

Our commitments

01

No conflicts

No affiliate commissions from rated entities, and rated entities cannot be our affiliates.

02

One model for everyone

The same facts produce the same result for every entity. A Caution needs a documented regulator or court action and its citation.

03

Sources shown

Every verdict points to the record behind it, so you can open the register and check it yourself.

How a verdict is made

From public record to plain label

  1. 01

    Collect

Regulator registers, warning lists, public enforcement records and firm-published terms.

  2. 02

    Apply a fixed model

The same rules run for every entity. A negative finding always needs an official source.

  3. 03

    Show the source

The verdict is shown with the regulator details and the citation behind it.

  4. 04

    Review and update

Records are reviewed on a rolling basis and each shows its latest review.

Limits

What our records cannot tell you

Records reflect public sources at the time of the last review. They are not an endorsement and not a guarantee of future conduct. Absence of a regulatory action is not proof a firm is safe, and absence from a regulator's list is not proof of authorisation. Read a firm's own terms and confirm its licence on the regulator's register before you deposit.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Still stuck? Contact us.

What is your editorial process?
Records come from official sources and are turned into verdicts by a fixed model, so the same facts produce the same result. Articles are written by our team from public sources and reviewed before publishing.
Do you use AI to write content?
AI is used inside the product, for Ask answers, the daily brief and the weekly journal insight. Guides, glossary entries and records on this site are written and reviewed by people. Where AI produces the content, the page says so.
Why do pages show a last-reviewed date?
Regulation and prop firm rules change. The date tells you when the page was last checked, and we only change it when we have actually reviewed the content.
How do you handle conflicts of interest?
We do not take commissions from rated entities, rated entities cannot be affiliates, and we do not run paid listings. The independence statement is repeated on the pages it applies to.
What are the limits of your records?
They reflect public sources at the time of the last review. Absence of a regulatory action is not an endorsement, and absence from a list is not proof of authorisation.
